Respite and Adult Day Care is a short-term stay in a fully-furnished apartment, from just a few hours or up to 14 days. Our programs allow the caregiver time away from the heavy demands placed on them when caring for another and is a great way to experience our Canyon Creek lifestyle. Adult Day Care is charged by the hour or full day. Respite Care is charged by the week. The primary reasons for a respite stay are to ease the transition from hospital to home, or to provide an alternative living situation in the event a primary caregiver is temporarily unavailable. Respite and Adult Day Care residents receive the same services, care and personal treatment that our long-term residents receive.
